Yes, thats the trade off with low-glow LEDs - they glow. They also provide much better clarity and range compared to no-glow LEDs, which don't glow.
However, its important to note this is based on human vision only, not other mammals. There is strong evidence that most other mammals, especially nocturnal mammals, can see no-glow and low-glow infrared LEDs - so its often better to have that higher clarity on a low-glow camera.

I think you HAVE to go to Delete All first to Format the SDXC Memory card to enable the files to be named "T_LAPSE00001" etc., otherwise you won't be able to view the recorded videos/pictures in the BUCKWATCH App'.

Glad you're enjoying the camera!
The SD cards are plug and play, and there is no need to reformat. The Buckwatch software is only for timelapse mode - these files are also not viewable on the camera itself and are stored in a different folder on the SD card. If you're not in Timelapse+ mode, you don't need to do this essentially.
