“I bought this camera to take part in the hedgehog survey running in May 2025 which any member of the public can take part in (see hedgehography.com for details). I set it up to take still photos in my garden and in the first few days I captured images of a hedgehog and a badger (which was a surprise, I wasn't expecting that), as well as hundreds of photos of birds. The image quality is excellent and the camera is easy to use with a range of options for stills and video which easily meet all of my needs.
I bought a 256GB memory card which is big enough to store almost 70,000 still photos at 12 megapixels, and a set of lithium batteries which seemed quite expensive but apparently they should be good for nearly 2 years of use (but we shall see).
