“I have purchased many trail cameras from various makers over the years with mixed results. I recently bought 3 Ursus over a period of 4 moinths have have found them very reliable with excellent video quality and outstanding battery life. I have them covering 2 hedgehog feeding stations covering night time and 1 in a general area covering paths and on 24 hours of video.
One thing I did find awkward was the removal of the SD card but found by 'flicking' the card from the camera it shoots out safely into my free hand. You will easily manage this with practice and I'm sure most owners already do this.
I highly recommend these cameras even for the more advanced users. They are keenly priced and produce really excellent results!”

This is a good sturdy device which is easy to use. The instruction booklet is pretty straight forward. The video quality is excellent too - perfect for keeping an eye on the wildlife in my garden.
Unlike other cameras, this one only needs 6 batteries, rather than the usual 8. Another plus!

“I will leave the instruction manual out of this bit! The camera is all i could wish for [being a beginner]. I like the flexibility of the timing system and the combinations of photo and video available. I am monitoring a hedgehog feening station. The good news is that I have been able to adjust filming times to save batteries and the video time so that a get a full record of activity at each "take". The bad new is that I am not feeding a hedgehog put a neighbour's cat that can overcomed the 90° bend at the entrance! Plenty of scope to monitor the results of various modifications to the feeding station!”

Take care when opening while wet as battery compartment exposed. If flicking through video clips you need to pause first, then skip to next.”
