The camera is coping well with a fairly feeble WiFi booster and is giving clear images. I appreciate the zoom function on the recordings as we can't (yet) get the camera as close to the pond as we'd like (a more powerful WiFi booster is needed because we have a long garden). It's really handy to get the notifications on the phone. We bought a solar panel and the biggest SD card that would fit so we're hoping for fuss-free viewings. It's a sturdy piece of kit and has many more features than other cameras at the same price point. Looking forward to lots of interesting viewing!

I bought it as a present for my parents, but was keen to check it out on my own garden first. I haven't mounted it properly but it sits quite happily in a plant pot on my doorstep. I probably didn't need to order the solar panel as well. It was straightforward for me to set up. It seems great at detecting motion and I can't fault the video quality. Sadly all I seem to have in my garden is wood pigeons in the daytime! When it's not being triggered very often, battery life is great. The main downside is its reliance on an app and a cloud server, and the camera needing good WiFi signal.

I've bought this for my parents as we love watching all the animals and birds in the garden. I'd considered buying a smart bird feeder, but we wanted to be able to move a camera around. We've only had the camera up and running a few days but we're really enjoying it so far. The app is super easy to use and the video quality is great. Looking forward to getting the most out of it!

Very impressed with the NatureSpy Wildcam 2 - no subscriptions, great UI with plenty of features and the camera quality is excellent. I’d also recommend the solar panel as it’s been keeping my camera battery fully charged since set-up. I purchased this camera to watch my newly set up pond but would purchase again if I needed a home CCTV camera as it’s far superior to my Blink camera (subscription required, awful UI and paywalled features).

Great camera.. needs to be close for clear video/pics.. would be helpful if you could switch off alerts without disabling motion detection but that apart it’s great value and well put together. Solar kit works a treat. Tv hasn’t been on since i bought them! Compare vid of badger with my old Ltlacorn 5210 series..naturespy much clearer

Hi Douglas, Thanks for the review and glad you're enjoying the camera! You can stop alerts without turning off motion detection. There are a few ways to do this - you can do it via your device's notification settings, firstly. You can also do this via the app - tap 'Me' at the bottom, then the settings bolt in the top right corner. Then, tap 'App notification' from here, you can turn off the alert, or set do not disturb schedules for the alerts. I hope that helps!

Treated myself to NatureSpy WiFi WildCam 2 for my 80th birthday. Absolutely delighted with it. Very easy to set up to wifi, bluetooth and solar panel and mobile phone. Picture and sound quality is excellent by day and night. Portable for round the garden, pond and feeders. Taking it to the woods this weekend. Very good value for money. I removed the front of a bird box and fitted the camera inside it.
