“I fuel mostly with C30 drink mix, up to 90 gms per hour, but toward the end of long rides or races, when I want to add in some caffiene C30+ gels make this easy to do. Also, when it gets hot during long rides/races, I like to carry some plain water, as my stomach may not be able to tolerate a 90 gm bottle of C30 when it is really hot. At these hot times, I compliment the C30 drink mix with the C30 gels and plain water. Within the N2 system, it is still easy to keep track of carbs and sodium, even when changing the fueling plan on the fly when it gets hot. This is not to suggest any N2 products cause stomach distress! All racers know that when it gets hot though, one may have to adjust their carb intake, and the N2 ssytem makes this easy, even with race brain.”
