“Just applied this a couple days ago to my new GMC Sierra 2500HD. I ran my finger across it when I picked it up at the dealer and the paint was grippy, not smooth. After applying Nexgen, The entire truck feels like glass. And I only used 1/8 of a bottle for the entire outside. Good stuff. We'll see how long it lasts but looks promising.”
“The media could not be loaded. But then again its brand new. I did some research on how best to apply the stuff and Ill say thisĶ its a lot of work to do RIGHT. I washed the truck then I wiped down every single surface with rubbing 91% alcohol diluted with 2/3 or 3/4 parts water. Yes its safe for your paint. Next I applied this stuff to a 3x3 area at a time and used a clean cloth the buff it out. All in all it took me a solid three hours and Im exhausted. ( it was humid and 93? ) It would probably be easier to have a helper holding the clean cloth to walk in behind you as you apply everything. Overall I am happy with the results but the only reason I left 4 Stars is I saw some YouTube videos comparing it to turtle wax hybrid ceramic and I wish I wouldve bought that instead. Longevity and water beading up was how they differed. Let me state that you need to wash your vehicle very clean and use a ceramic prewash or the alcohol blend I mentioned before. IF you want this coating to adhere properly and last. This stuff was twice as much as the possibly better turtle wax hybrid ceramic so I wouldnt say the value is good. If you see the pictures obviously it looks great. Too bad I have to turn this ride into a work truck.. but I WILL be riding in style. ?”
