Designed for use only with Kohler generators equipped with the RDC2 generator set/transfer switch controller. The RXT series switch rated for 100 Amps manages the source of power to your whole house. Under generator power, it also manages which prioritized heavy loads have power and which do not. Rated as Service Entrance Equipment, the Kohler 100A Automatic Transfer Switch includes a main service disconnect. The Aluminum enclosure is corrosion resistant. The NEMA 3R rating allows indoor or outdoor installation. Kohler 100 Amp Automatic Transfer SwitchThe Kohler generator's RDC2 controller continuously monitors the utility service. When it fails, the controller starts the generator and signals the Kohler 100A automatic transfer switch to change the power source from utility to generator. When the utility service returns, the RDC2 controller signals the ATS to switch back to utility service. The generator begins its shutdown cycle.The KOHLER 100A automatic transfer switch continuously monitors the utility power. When the utility power fails, the transfer switch automatically starts the generator and transfers the home's electrical loads to restore power to your home.
