A Tri Fuel Generator runs on Propane**, Natural Gas, or Gasoline. Connect a propane tank and the generator will automatically sense and select the fuel. DuroMax suggests a minimum 60-pound LP tank (Not Included) or larger for operation. Switch to Natural Gas for extended run times. Use Gasoline for the most power.

DuroMax CO Alert Carbon Monoxide Detection and Shutdown
This generator comes equipped with CO Alert, a carbon monoxide sensor that shuts the generator down when it detects Carbon Monoxide.
The XP15000HXT tri fuel generator is for outdoor use only, positioned away from homes and other buildings, with the exhaust pointed away from any persons or buildings.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an odorless, invisible gas produced by internal combustion engines and any device that burns a fuel to produce heat or energy. The CO Alert shutdown feature adds an extra measure of safety to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning caused by misuse.
The DuroMax XP15000HXT Owner Manual explicitly states that the generator is only for use outdoors. Keep the generator at least 20-feet away from any windows, doors, vents, or other openings with the exhaust pointed away from the building and preferably downwind.
According to the DuroMax Owner Manual and Website, this generator May NOT run indoors. All homes should have a working, up to date, carbon monoxide detector in their home.
