Got this after Winter Storm Yuri. I've only run it with propane to keep the maintenance low. The remote is very handy.

I ordered my iGen4500 DF on 3/10/2021 and understood they were on back order. The first unit shipped looked like the box had been abused so I refused the shipment and they were shipping me a different unit. On 3/24/2021 I received the 2nd unit. Much better the box made it to me in very good condition. After opening the box and servicing the unit with oil and connecting the battery I had noticed the the back cover did not meet up to the blue sides and upon further inspection I saw it was missing two Screws#78 on the break down after many calls to Norwall Power Systems and their lack of wanting to take care of the customer I got in touch with Westinghouse and was able to get the screws ordered with no problems. I must say I am a little disappointed with Norwall this should have been a no brainer issue to take care of the customer! The other problem was on propane the generator would run ok but if you put it in the economy mode the generator would surge. It ran great on gas but propane not as good. Turns out it was an adjustment on the regulator now runs excellent! I would still recommend this generator.

If you need a portable (100 lbs), quite (52 db) generator that will run on gas or propane this is the one. Add the fact that it come RV 30 amp plug read, you've got a winner.
