“these are super high quality canisters. i love them. and knowing fresh milled flour loses nutrients quickly, i thought i would use these to mill a little extra and store for a week or two use. storing refrigerated or frozen can help even more so i sealed these and put in the refrigerator. however, when the silicone gasket gets cold, it contracts and loses the seal. i am not sure what is better, no vacuumed but stored in the fridge or vacuumed and stored on the counter?”
