I work from home and I am on the computer for more than 7 hours a day. Lately I was getting back and neck pain I couldn't ignore any longer, so after reading about walking treadmills, I decided to buy one. I received the product within two days, it was easy to assemble and it's very easy to use and very quiet. It comes with a handy control deck that can be easily assembled onto a standing desk. I've used for one day, but it felt great sitting down to have lunch and dinner.

This product works really well and lets you keep active at your desk with minimal effort and no disruption to work. I walk at 1mph for approx 7 hours per day. The only small negative about the product is that it automatically stops after 30 minutes so you need to keep manually restarting it.

I have the good fortune to usually work from home. No commute, no rushing ... and no walking. Like many people in my generation, I spend an unhealthy part of my day in a sedentary position but don't even get a token amount of steps in courtesy of travel. I shouldn't have been surprised at the result but seeing an activity monitor show that I hadn't moved for 17 hours on the first day that I used it brought home an ugly truth. And so I needed a solution, and this was it. How brilliantly novel - how come nobody else thought of it years ago? The treadmill arrived within a couple of days of ordering and was very easy to set up. Plug in and go is near enough as simple as you're going to get. It's quiet, sturdy and easy to operate, and I'm particularly pleased that it's easy to read from a Kindle and walk on the treadmill at the same time. Working in a standing position was OK for some routine tasks, though I confess that solving a tricky problem where usually I'd lean back in the chair to ponder it hasn't yet come naturally. The treadmill comes complete with the handlebars so that you can use it away from the desk too, and so mine has made its way downstairs on occasion whilst the TV's on. It's on a little bit of an incline when the full apparatus is added (just a case of twisting some bolts to accomplish that) so the walk is a bit harder than in office mode, but again it's a case that I can get my steps in without having to leave the house, and at the same time carrying out the (in)activity that I would've done from a sitting position. I can't see any drawback to this product at all, as long as you bear in mind that it's for walking rather than running and so doesn't go much past a brisk stroll. A benefit of the smaller motor is that it's much quieter than you might fear and at only 25 kg it's easy to pick up and store away so it doesn't get in the way when not in use. I'm very happy to endorse it, especially when the price is so good. Mine is excellent and I wish I'd been able to get my hands on one several stone ago.

It arrived on time and in perfect condition. All I had to do was plug it in and start walking. Before purchase I was a little concerned that it may be too noisy as I live in a building where the sound proofing is not great but it makes hardly any noise at all, in fact my large tower computer makes more noise...It is easy to use while typing. If you want to be more active while working on your computer or at your desk, I would strongly recommend that you purchase this product.

I've ordered two under-desk treadmills from Office Fitness, in 2014 and 2019. Speedy delivery, good quality products and rapid replies when I've had questions. Keep up the good work!
