“The kit is complete with all the bits needed for the job. I decided to buy genuine axle seals as they are probably the most important part, but the ones provided in the kit looked quite satisfactory. The kit did not include any information, but watching a youtube video I managed to complete the rebuild in 10 hours. Allow more time if you lack mechanical experience, and less time if you have done the job before (I reckon it will be 6 hours or less next time). In addition to the kit you will need 2 types of grease, split pins and diff oil. You will also need the special 54mm socket for the axle, a bearing press kit to install the bearings, a ball joint splitter as well as your regular tools. Note: You will need a normal torque wrench as well as one that does low torque (I think 10Nm from memory). This is a messy job so put a tarp down, have plenty or rags and gloves.”
