“on receipt of the cable all looked good - when installed the bonnet would not latch. I found the inner cable was short by approx. 10mm Or the outer cable was too long. after speaking and sending pics to online auto parts - the only answer was to return the cable as it "should be correct as we have sold 100's with no problem?" this didn't help! I had to make up a spacer to relocate the outer cable so the bonnet would latch. all is now good after a couple of days screwing around. the car is original - has not been in an accident - so I don't know why it didn't fit as there is no adjustments that can be made”

“I fitted the bonnet cable and it works, (for territory cable latch isn’t as strong as the Fairmont cable latch. The fuse box also works well.”
