“The Innova Equus ZPN-11440 is the top of the range model timing light offered with digital Tachometer, Engine Advance testing features,Dwell and Voltage readout all in one convenient unit.Furthermore, the entire assembly appears extremely well made,all battery & Tacho cables and clamps have quality insulated fittings and the Inductive pick up unit looks really solid and is clearly marked with the direction you should face the pickup on the number 1 spark plug lead.Though rather a small issue,I would like to see a protective cover over the thin Tacho wire because it could easily become tangled ,caught or damaged but a simple fix by slipping over some convoluted tubing.As a retired Auto Technician,I would say that it has a bright strobe light and it all comes in a plastic case to protect your investment.I briefly tested the timing light only but not the digital Tacho,Dwell or advance feature as access to the coil is rather difficult on my car.But I plan to test those features at my earliest convenience and let you know how it went.It comes with instructions for those DIYers and is extremely easy to understand.Moreover,it has a protective heat and damage resistant shroud around the working end of the timing light. I don’t expect to use my timing light much,just for our own cars but it’s a worthwhile investment because it saves you money and you can check your contact point gap using a dwell feature,adjust idle speed and base ignition timing,check the amount of advance by removing and refitting vacuum advance hose on the distributor and can check ignition timing on cars with electronic ignition.And it will give a Voltage reading so you know battery voltage and if the charging system is working.And it was delivered in excellent time.Subsequently,I ticked no to installation because I only checked timing light function briefly but have used this brand before.That’s why I bought it! For a timing light that works on 2 & 4 stroke and 2-12 cylinders with a high degree of accuracy it’s priced in that sweet spot that most can afford.Unfortunately,I didn’t get mine for Fathers Day!”
