“Deadset didn’t work. Mechanic installed it and I drove off no worries, ran sweet. Got to half a tank and my Ute died cause it was getting no fuel. Took it back to mechanic to solve the issue. Cost me another 300 bucks in labour for him to eliminate all other possibilities to come back to the new primer pump. He put the old one with the old filter back on and it runs sweet again. He then tested it and found it was sucking air in somewhere under load hence no fuel getting to the engine. I’m down 300 bucks and the part cost with a whole lot of headache, so pretty unsatisfactory and not worth a penny.”
