Narrow Rectangle Raised Garden Bed - Monument - MNOGC20050R Reviews

4.8 Rating 123 Reviews
Easy to set up and very safe with the rolled edges. Some information on its capacity for soil/potting mix and adding the option of a base that offers drainage would be excellent. We have it set on pavers so have to organise our own base for drainage. Our blueberries are loving it!

A big five stars for this one. Purchased two from Bunnings at a great price and are very happy with them. So easy to put together, you are right, can be done by one person, strong and well made. Would be the safest one I have used thanks to the rolled edges so no cuts or nicks on the fingers, even though its strong its tough and light to carry. Highly recommend.

Just bought one this week and set it up today. It's a great product, kept it's shape after filling up with potting mix, I guess the corrugations and quality steel help. Very easy to put together though a bit more than the 5 minutes described. I also had to figure out how to line it around the sides and bottom, as I have to set it up on pavers, considering soil seepage and adequate drainage. That's ok, I'm experienced enough to figure it out, but a less confident gardener might want some more advice about that, especially if wanting to set it up on grass that may contain couch or kikuyu. (Don't even think of it. That's why I'm doing it over the paving here.) Perhaps as a web link? I also was left guessing how many bags of potting mix I'd need. It would be helpful to state how many litres capacity the bed has, to correspond with the litres of potting mix. Though my maths is good, it would have been better if that was stated on the box along with the physical dimensions. I look forward to proper tasting tomatoes and beans this summer!
