“The only reason this got 2 stars instead of 1, is because I really enjoyed the salt and pepper spiciness. It is well balanced. But that is where it ends. The activated charcoal gives the jerky a "I am eating something that feel in the sand" texture and ultimately taste. And after you are done then you have the grittiness left in your mouth. Unpleasant to say the least.”
