“My Son and I recevied the full range today and got stuck into it. We tried the Black Pepper first (Heat Level 2) , not bad, not peppery enough. Moved onto the GunPowder (Heat Level 2) and is like Geronimo (QLD old favourite )jerky, very nice and peppery and bit of spice. Next, Ragin Cajun (Heat Level 3) bit warmer, cajun flavour comes through and nice. Moved onto Chilli BBQ (Heat Level 5), now this was warm, like Belles HOT Chicken, really nice, you want spice then this is your go to. Lastly we went the Creeping Reaper, (Heat Level 8), and it is as its name says, the heat creeps up on you and milk was needed, especially my son. We both like the heat but we wouldn't be able to chow down on this as much as the others. The other 3 jerky's, Honey Soy, Bourbon BBQ and Smokey BBQ haven't been tried yet but I am sure they are good. Overall the jerky is tough (which I like) but gets chewable pretty quickly and the flavour comes in a little late. Small pieces, not like Geronimo's, but dry enough to enjoy not like some other jerkys that are gooey and soft, like Jack Links etc.., YUK!. If Geronimo was a 10/10 then this is 8/10, -1 point for piece size and -1 point for the black pepper not being peppery enough. Might be a bit harsh, i know, but that is just what we like. Will definitely buy again and after trying all flavors, the gunpowder, cajun and chilli stand out and we will buy kilos of the stuff. Finally found a great jerky maker after Geronimo gave up the ghost. Thanks.”
“The texture of the jerky was spot on! Needs a good chew to get through to the flavour. There's also quite a variety to choose from which is always a positive. The only issue I had is that there wasn't enough flavour in some of the packs I tried and hence, tasted a bit bland compared to other jerky I have tried in the past. It may have just been a bad batch I received so I'd be willing to give them a try again.”
