Th same good quality as before. The latest pairs no longer have TREKKER emblazoned in orange on their flanks which is a good thing in my books.

I bought my first pair back in 2009 to go inside a pair of high quality walking boots. I still have them and wear them once a week or so. The elastic thread has gone in them so they no longer grip round the calf, but they are still comfy. I have not bought any other type of sock since, if you exclude a couple of pairs of the heavyweight variety, and cannot foresee this changing unless the quality drops. If you find something you like, stick with it, my sock drawer now resembles a green & grey Bridgedale display.

I was sent a different pair of socks to what I ordered, without any explanation. After multiple emails with customer service they were not able to help with any of the product information about the socks, nor a link where they sell these socks on the site. So I am still unsure of the details, however they did offer me the option to return them - as they were a gift I didn't have the time to do this. The other product I ordered was correct.

Bought this last week to replace previous Bridgedale socks...they didn't disappoint. Not only a great product BUT great price, service and delivery.

I'm still up and about with some 65 years experience of mountain going. I've used Bridgedale socks as a matter of course. Lately, after being attracted by the claims of such worthies as Darn Tough and Horizon, I've reverted to Bridgedale, the reasin, comfort. These new , hard weaeing designs have a major fault for me, they don't have enough give. Tight knits needed for such socks can be very uncimfortable on long descents over rough terrain as I found out recently on a longish walk from Driesh and Mayar down into Glen Clove. Back to Bridgedale.

I’ve been buying Bridgedale trekker socks for years and use them religiously for ultra marathons and long mountain days. The quality of the newer socks has been diminished to that of a cheap nylon football sock. Dare I say it, they almost felt and looked like a fake product. I’m not sure if this is an updated sock by Bridgedale or, they are merely cutting costs and riding the wave of past success. Either way, if the trekker sock remains like this I will not be buying any more.
