“I bought two pairs of these to replace much cheaper pairs of "no tie" laces that broke after one week. I've had several other brands and these are by far the best quality I've found. Don't be put off by the price, they are worth their premium tag.”

“I picked these up as I was looking for replacement laces for a pair of walking boots and liked the idea of easy on/easy off. They DO NOT work on walking boots. The supplied laces are too thin and very stretchy. You can take the plastic lock mechanism and use them on thicker walking laces, however this mechanism is not strong enough to hold in place with the pressure and leverage of boot wearing and immediately slips loose. I should make it very clear, this is NOT a fault of the product - they are not listed specifically to be used for this but nowhere said they couldn't....so hopefully this will save someone making the same mistake as me. I have since put them on trainers and they work perfectly and as expected, so just use them for their specified purpose folks!”
