“Have no idea where this stuff actually came from. It's got what look to be some sort of inventory tags in Hebrew attached to all the ammo boxes, but it's definitely just off-the-shelf commercial Remington ammo (seemingly from the 70s but I'm not sure.) It's been packed in mismatched ammo cans. One seems to originally have been for 5.56mm and one for 7.62 Nato from the printings on the side of the can. Best guess would be some police force in Israel, not the military but who knows? I've fired a few hundred rounds out of the two cans I ordered, mixed and matched to check all the different individual boxes instead of just one or two. Some of the ammo has a mild patina on the casing, so it clearly wasn't stored in perfect conditions. Nonetheless, all but one of the rounds fired flawlessly. The one oddity was a minor squib. Seems the powder just didn't burn fast enough as there was some of it left in the barrel. Still, had enough oomph to push the bullet out so no big deal, really. Given the failure rate is”
