“A little smokey and Stinky. My Marlin 917V shot this ammo a bit low and left. The other ammo I usually run is dead on Nuts at 50 Yards. switching back and forth between ammo tells me this ammo POI is a bit off

“I tested 4 brands of 17 hmr ammo in a new Ruger American, Browning BPR 17grain was the ONLY brand to have failure to extract. About 5% of shells failed to extract- all having case cracks near the neck. I checked all ejected shells and 10% of all fired shells had cracks (though only 5% were severe enough to fail to extract)”
