This Barnaul stuff goes 2400 fps from a 16 inch barrel! Finally some 7.62x39 that isn't piss poor underpowered. This stuff is actually viable for self defense, unlike tula hollowpoints going 2200 fps and with zero expansion. These Barnaul softpoints eviscerated water jugs while tula hollowpoints just ripped them in half.”
“This shoots very well out of my CZ 527 Carbine. No issues feeding either, I see some people complain about the lacquer coating but I've had no trouble. I've shot about 100 rounds so far with zero complaints. Can't say anything about terminal performance though- I can't wait to see how these perform on wild hogs.”
