“Next best thing to a rat trap for red squirrels and a lot more fun. I've been peeling reds from the bird feeders for years with these shells. They are quiet, safe, and lethal. I have never yet seen an exit wound, one shot is usually enough. There is hardly any danger of ricochet either. I don't think I would shoot anything larger than a red squirrel, but these are perfect.”
“Price, service and shipping great as always. Wanted to try these for back yard pest control and was looking for as quiet as possible, without suppressor. Was using an old Winchester 69a with I think a 24 inch barrel, awesome rifle if you find one grab it. From that barrel extremely quiet, noticeably more so than cci quiet. Like literally cap gun quiet. Accuracy is so-so, or I should say consistency. 20-25 yards, 1-2 out of 5 are flyers that are not my doing. Overall groups about 1.5 inches, was hoping for under an inch at 20yds. Not sure if the freebore jump of a 22 short in LR chamber has anything to do with this, gonna try CB longs as well but I’d get these again regardless as they’re just fun.”
