You get the bonded Gold Dot with the speed of the older Federal 9BPLE . I love the old Federal ammo but this gives the shooter a very stout bullet that will hold up very well . It is accurate outta my Glock 17 Gen4 constantly giving me baseball to softball size groups at 25 yard's , shooting at speed.
If ya have a full size handgun, from a reputable manufacturer such as a Glock, HK, Sig, FN, S&W don't be worried about trying a box or 10 you may find a fun ammo to run every once and a while . They do have a stout recoil compared to normal 115 grn FMJ range fodder but it's a hoot to pop off a couple maggs of these.
I would not shoot these in a sub compact handgun, the recoil and the higher slide velocities will more then likely make the small pistols NO fun at all.
