“I did some testing on ammo recently. At 15 feet, the speer gold dot 155gr hp shot through 4.5 inches of pine boards. Remington FMJ 180gr shot through 3 inches of pine boards. Blazer 165gr shot through 3.75 inches of pine boards. The speer gold dot 155gr hp- the hollow point plugged up with pine board and expanded to .40. I also shot the speer gold dot 155gr hp into gallon water jugs. I penetrated 2 complete jugs and ended up in the 3rd jug. It expanded to .78 inches. I was very impressed. The bonded bullet did not lose any weight.”
