“Federal's 9BPLE is a dang good round. I have shot around 1,000 to 1,100 of them outta my Gen 4 Glock 17. It's a HOT little round that is very accurate, some time freakishly accurate, especially for a +p+ round. I have had NO problem with any I have shot. No bulged case's, no extremely flattened primers, & no separated case heads. It has been absolutely perfect shooting ammo.
I have heard a good amount of "experts" claim that this +p+ ammo outta Glock pistols will wear them out, and rruineone soon as you shoot the very first one. Well as long as your pistols are in GOOD shape and are from a reputable manufacturer such as Glock, HK, Sig, FN, S&W, or a well built 1911 you will enjoy the accuracy & pop from these. Also keep a eye on your recoil spring and you will be good to go. That saying I wood not shoot these outta the small sub compact handguns due to the extra recoil and extremely high slide velocities that will happen with a +p+ round.
Hope this helps . God bless everyone and God bless America .”
“This round has a proven track record as a excellent self-defense round. It was in use by the Illinois State Police and Border Patrol; both agencies were very satisfied with it's performance. Although it may break up in the FBI tests (which creates more wound channels, but gets no credit for that), in the real world it will work as you want it to.”
