This is especially true in .45 ACP. The ballistics are superior to comparable 230G FMJ loads. Additionally, the lighter weight of the aluminum casing as compared to brass is a big plus in travel weight to the range. In 9 x 19 MM the weight difference is negligible, in .45 ACP it is significant.”
