“The rounds are just ok. 480 Ruger is really at home with 400+ gr bullets at ~1200 fps. These 325gr at 1350 are more like 45 colt +P or hot 44 mag. The XTP is a fine hollow point and these would work great for deer or pigs, but a cheap cast 340gr bullet would do the job just as well at a lower price. The rounds are very accurate and recoil is substantial without being intolerable. The cases eject somewhat hard indicated far too fast of a powder for this bullet weight (the velocity is too low for it to be a max load with a slower powder). Overall the rounds are satisfactory and well made, but the engineer who approved the specs for which it was manufactured should be knocked down a paygrade.”
