“I have been looking for more of this ammo since I found it previously. It shoots clean and is very accurate out of my Rock River rifle. It is hard to come by and the price varies. If you search for the ammo it is available from time to time.
The non green tip heavier projectile really helps with the longer range stages. I highly recommend it for two and three gun matches, especially if you are required to shoot to 300 yards and beyond.”

And, unlike traditional 62gr 5.56NATO rds...Magtech does not have the steel core penetrator...so its not as destructive on your steel targets... and it's indoor range friendly. Having said all that... you still get the ballistic performance of a 62 grain projectile loaded to NATO specs...just minus the penetrator.
Lastly, if you are looking to stock up on quality 62grain NATO rds...this is a great buy. First the price, and second, the primers are sealed, case necks are lightly annealed, and there is a consistent seating depth of each bullet down to the base of the cannelure ..but no farther. These are loaded very well.”
