“Ok I have a couple reviews out for fun ammo the 9BPLE & Gold Dot +p+ 115 grn. Ok, this is serious ammo hear. If Im out I have THIS in my pistols. This ammo is in my primary home defense handgun. The 124 grn +P HST has to be the BEST PERSONAL DEFENSE AMMO OUT THERE BAR NONE. It is very accurate penetrates very well and expands awesome. I have had the chance to shoot this particular ammo into a bunch of different media. Water jugs and a custom built box that holds gallon bag's filled with water but the most important thing was 10% ballistic gel. It constantly penetrates 13.5 to 14.5 inches and expands to .59 to .67 inches depending on if it was bare gel or denim covered. I have gotten very good accuracy out of every 9MM pistol I have shot this ammo out of, full size to sub compact.
I can say that NO ONE can go wrong choosing this ammo to defend ones self . I shoot a bunch of different ammo but if I had to choose one it wood be the 124 grn +P HST. I also can say the 147 grn +P the 147 grn standard pressure & 124 grn standard pressure HST is just as good as the +p . I just have enough kid left in me to love the extra pop and recoil of a +p 9mm round but I'm also not stuck in my ways and fall into a rut and over look the good 147 grn HST either.
Choose this, choose a good practice round and shoot, train and shoot and train some more. You wont have to pick another defense ammo.
