the specific problem is the rounds don't get tilted up and get smashed into the upper edge of the mag well, which deforms the lead tip of the bullet”
“Never had any issues with PPU ammo. Not the fastes in fps but just right for hunting. I have shot .308 win, 7.62x39 and 223/556 PPU for several years. All brass reloadable and non corrosive.”
