“I built my wife an AR with an FN America hammer forged barrel chambered in 5.56 with a 1 - 7 twist. We have tried every available match ammunition from all the major US and many foreign manufacturers. Most of the match ammo shoots well. Some very well. The Winchester consistently produces groups under 1/2" at 100 yards. We get an occasional 1/4" 5-shot group. Most are 3/8". All are under 1/2". I have an AR with a Wilson stainless fluted "match" barrel with a 223 Wylde chamber that will produce under 1" consistently with this ammo. Occasionally 1/2". Most are 3/4" to 7/8". As we all know, most barrels will "prefer" a specific load. My wife's AR performs very, very well with this ammo.”
