“I have experimented with numerous brands of ammunition for my 300 Blackout AR15 using Mapgul PMAGs. Not all ammo is created equal, and that's a problem in the 300 BLK AR platform. The feed lips of the magazines paired with cartridge crimping variances means that with certain ammo, you will experience failure-to-feed FAR too often. I was hesitant to try S&B strictly based on price (how can the cheapest 300 BLK ammo work, if the more expensive stuff jams or fails to feed all the time?). Finally tried it, and it is my go-to ammo for practicing and target shooting. It doesn't seem to be quite as accurate as the Federal American Eagle, but realistically, both are not meant to be extremely top quality rounds. They are however, more than acceptable and they definitely do the job, and they do it well, and they do it reliably.
