“My 722 Varmint drove tacks with the German made Wolf Match Target,
not so much with the new stuff made in England , Not the slick lubricant of the old German Wolf , in my tight chambered rifle after about 75-100rounds
I had to run a patch to clean out the gook build up they use for lubrication so I could stop the failed to extract problem..
I would not buy this again .
To be clear it shoots about 1 inch groups on the norm the old Wolf was ½ inch groups consistently.”
“I have shot this ammo out of a CZ 455 American and a CZ 455 Varmint with a 16" barrel. It performed much better than cheaper ammo (CCI SV, Norma TAC, etc.) and as well as Norma Match in the American at both 50 yards and 100 yards. When I compared it to Geco Match, Norma Match and Federal Gold Medal Match out of the Varmint, it did well at 50 yards, but not as well as the other brands at 100 yards. If I was to get more Wolf MT, I would go with SK Standard Plus because it generally runs a little cheaper.”
