“This Russian ammo has been surprisingly good to shoot with my new SKS rifles, a Russian "Tula" and a Chinese "Paratrooper." I have gone through numerous boxes of this ammo with both rifles, and have been very impressed with the results. No FTFs, no jams, and more accurate than expected through rifles not known to be so accurate. Due to the ammo being cheap AND dependable, I have been going to my shooting range much more often. “I purchased two SKS rifles two months ago and have been sampling ammunition in both rifles since then, to determine which brand and style each rifle liked. I have been very impressed with Wolf 7.62x39mm 123 Gr FMJ, used in my Chinese Paratrooper SKS. I have shot that rifle numerous times with this ammo, and though all trials went well, most people know SKS rifles are not known for accuracy, particularly with iron sights. Six to eight inch groups at 100 yards might be typical using iron sights. Still hog killers at 100 yards. But I had a Primary Arms 3x compact scope on the paratrooper, and after sighting in, was able to group ten shots in a 2 ½" circle around the bulls eye, including 7 of 10 IN the bulls eye. No FTFs, no jams. No serious fliers. Could not be happier with the rifle, and the ammunition. Both performed beautifully.”
