“As a Burmese breeder of 41 years it has become apparent in the recent 3-4 years that Burmese (and other pedigree breeds, (I have heard from breeders) are having an adverse effect on kittens at 8 weeks of age. This causes them to be frighteningly lethargic for 24 + hours and not willing to eat or drink or move around. It is quite scary. My vet started giving my kittens Metacam prior to vaccinating them to reduce the high effect of the vaccination.
My kittens have no reaction when vaccinmated with a Live vaccine.
I wonder if Fel-O-Vax are able to look into the ingredients in this with the view to changing the contents so that this does not occur. Thank you.”
