“The strap is very good, once I was able to adjust the strap. The tool provided was not useful at all. The thread on the tool was very weak, and the thread slipped. Had to revert to a trusty small hole drilled in a piece of wood. The plunger part of the supplied tool with a small hammer was used to remove the pins in the unwanted links. A short note on the removal of excess links would be useful. Does not need to be a manual, just a couple of diagrams/pictures explaining that the pin is not spring-loaded and the pin needs to mostly removed to remove the linkks.”
“Love the metal strap, looks classy, feels good. I did have a plastic one before which ripped. That was very easy to remove but I did find the new metal strap rather fiddly, it took quite a few goes to finally attach the new strap. Overall, I am very happy with my new strap. Incidentally, there were no instructions on how to fit the strap, common sense helped, but I reckon some people would struggle.”
