“It's much cheaper than the Garmin stainless steel bands and from a distance it look good, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for in this case.
Paired this band up with the fēnix® 6X Sapphire which has the "Carbon Gray DLC" colour and the band is a pretty good match, not identical, but I'm happy with it. The colour would probably match the non sapphire model better as it is slightly darker.
The colour is a coating and it does scratch quite easily, so if you are planning to wear daily prepare yourself for that, but if worn on the odd occasion it's fine. Worth noting is that in-between the links where they join is NOT coated which is visible (see photos).
My biggest problem with this band was removing the links, on this website there is instructions saying you can push them out with a sim ejection tool (photo show apple one). One of the links came out easy, but the rest where extremely difficult (I ended up removing 4 links) and destroyed one sim ejection tool, bent another before I ended up using a jewelers kit to drive out the pins. Given one was easy your mileage may vary, but you've been warned.
Overall, it's okay, I'm not overly happy or unhappy with the purchase.”
“Great band, lifts the look of the watch from a sports watch to one that can be combined with a suit. Little annoying that you have to go to a jeweller to get the band size reduced as I wanted to wear it when I received it, but that's the same for any other watch. All in all great band to make the watch more versatile.”
“The Company: Some other companies could learn a thing or two about customer service from Ozstraps. Delivery was speedy ( I barely had my laptop lid closed after purchasing it when I got an email saying my purchase had been packaged and sent for shipping). And when I (through my own error) incorrectly bought the wrong strap they were very accommodating of my mistake and it was no hassle to exchange. And great communication through out.
The Product: It looks and feels great. As is build quality. It feels like it will last a long time. Coming from silicone be prepared for the weight in increase when moving to steel. Also be prepared to spend a few dollars at you local jeweler to get some links removed so that it fits you (unless you have a tool to do it yourself).
