“I bought a stainless steel band for my Fenix 6X as I didn’t like the soft silicon of the original. I use it kayaking and the silicon band was a lot more sticky than my previous Suunto Ambit strap. I didn’t have high expectations and went for the painted Steel version not the ceramic. I figured it would probably scratch easy but it’s been surprisingly robust and after a month of heavy use still looks brand new. I admit it was a bit harder to remove links to size it but if you know what to do it just takes determination.
I also included a case protector to use in the rough and tumble and that’s been great too.
