Having a DC (direct current) motor and not an AC (alternating current) one means there’s absolutely no hum. There’s absolutely no ‘rattle’ from the blades at highest RPM on the six speed controller. Instalation is also a breeze as they simply replace an existing 240V light fitting in your room.
