“I'm a tween in that the large size is a bit loose and the medium a tad tight. For me, I need a base layer to wick away the sweat I create going up hills so that I don't freeze when riding down them. To this end, I bought the medium size. Fits like a second skin (chest=40") just the way I want it so it doesn't bunch up under my jerseys. ”

“Comfortable, feels dry and warm on the skin. Is cut shorter than my assorted old L/S base layers. This means better fit on the bike, but forget wearing it as a casual shirt unless you want to show off your belly”

“I bought a previous version L/S base layer from Pactimo last year that is great. This latest one is even better, but the sizing is off for me. I bought both in Medium & the 1st one was a perfect fit. This one is MUCH tighter, but I was able to wear it. However, after washing (in cold water) & line drying, it seems to be even tighter now. Not sure how it shrunk (the older version hasn't) but I would never buy this again unless I went up a size.”

“Great product that performs as advertised. I have been wearing this LS version and the SS version with my Alpine thermal jersey depending on the temp. It is great at wicking sweat and helping to regulate core temp. I have bought several more of them.”

“Fortunately, here in Southern California we don’t need many warm cycling clothes, but when the temperature dips into the 40s the thermoregulator base layer is the perfect way to stay warm. Best of all, it breathes well and isn’t stifling when the temperature increases ten degrees or so. Very comfortable!”

“I've had the same Merino Wool base layer from Defeet for 10 + years. I have other base layers too, but that one... it was my favorite and it is still a great base layer. This however, is now my favorite. It fits great and does a great job of keep you warm without making you feel like you're overheating. It wicks sweat really well also. I highly recommend. I'll end up buying the S/S version as well.”

“I have several short sleeved base layers made with Dryarn from an Italian company that are great, so when I saw Pactimo made a long sleeve base layer with it, I bought it. Dryarn is a terrific fabric that wicks very well. The Thermoregulator Base works as advertised. I have worn it cycling and also skiing in Montana and it kept me warm and dry. I wear a size small in jerseys and the small in this product fit me well. Its very stretchy and I have had no problems with the length. The quality is excellent. Another great product from Pactimo.”
