I love these tights for these cold northeast US winters. My legs are kept warm and toasty.

These are very warm thermal tights and exactly what I need on rides in the 30s, especially windy ones. They fit a bit tighter than the Storm+, but not too tight to change sizes. The material is thicker, almost like a soft shell, and very comfortable. The chamois is top notch. The only thing I don’t totally like is the ankle zippers — I’ve never seen the use and the non-zippered ankles of the Storm+ work well. I’m 6’2”, 210 lbs, 36” inch waist, 33.5” inseam, and the XL is perfect.

I commute by bike - about 75 minutes each way, and in the winter the morning commute is just before sunrise and the evening commute just after sunset. In the depths of winter, morning commutes are often below freezing. There were only a few days below freezing days since I received these, but they were up to the challenge - knees and legs were comfortable. Fingertips and toes were another story, but these tights are definitely the best I have for the coldest winter weather.

They are warm and windproof, good for rides below 40 degrees F. Very tight fitting compared with the Alpine thermal bibs. Because of the much warmer and windproof fabric, they don't wick very well, but that is to be expected for this type of gear. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

Same size, just fits way different.

Awesome, the addition of the zipper at the bottom of the leg is a game changer. Great tights for the cold California winter mornings.

Thermals are great, but once it gets to be in the lower 40s (F) and below I need something windproof, especially at the groin area. These fit the bill! I would also like to see bib shorts made of this material. They are less stretchy than other fabrics but fit great and true once on.
