“Super comfortable chamois and materials. I am 6’1” and 155-160lbs and the Medium is perfect. Also I crashed on my first day wearing these and they didnt tear. Slight scuff but you really can barely notice, so the materials are top notch for sure. Epic!”

“If I could split a 'star rating' into two with this bib, I'd do it. Though I don't know that any sort of rating quite captures it anyway... To start off, this is probably the single best chamois for long distance riding that I've used. Full stop. I've been in Castelli, Rapha, Assos, Velocio, Gore, Voler, Pearl Izumi, and countless others that escape my recollection. This pad is tops. It is dense and supportive, but not overly thick. And shaped well. You can still feel what is going on beneath you. A diaper it is not. It has been comfortable on several dawn-to-dusk rides, and seems as though it'll hold up for a good few seasons. If I had to nitpick, it would be great if they could get all the same fit and feel into a 'welded' rather than 'sewn' pad. My other favorite shorts have tended to use the former style of pad construction, and I can only imagine this pad, with a more advanced construction would be transcendent. Even so, 5 out of 5 for the chamois. It really is that good. The shorts that are built around it are a mixed bag. I very much like the straps, super comfy, breathable, supportive not restrictive, generall do what they're supposed to do. I also really dig the zippered pocket on the back of the shorts. I have taken to riding with an Inreach for longer rides where I might not have service, and it fits in that pocket nicely. Because of the pockets location, and where my typical jersey fits (Range Aero Mesh Cargo; also reviewed), the device sits just below the hem of the top, which keeps it out of the way of the jersey pockets, and just generally let's me set and forget the Inreach for the day. The other pockets do well too; the thigh pockets are good and roomy. I've had some cargo bibs that seem to barely fit a gel. Not a problem with these. Also, the hemline at the front is in a good spot that doesn't constrict across the belly, but also allows for easy nature breaks without having to double over. The cut of the bibs is good, which is only apparent due to main gripe I've got: the odd fabric choice. What the Cerami-K fabric may gain in abrasion resistence is more than lost in the fit and feel. The fabric is tight/stiff, but not compressive. It is a sensation that has to be felt to be understood, but that's the best way I can describe it. It doesn't 'move' with you the same way a more traditional lycra based fabric might. It's the only time I've ordered my usual size and felt a bit 'sausage-y'. It may very well shrug off a meeting with the ground a little better, but I don't know if the trade-off is worth it for the compromised feel. When you are riding, it is mostly unnoticeable, but man what these bibs would feel like if they used a more lux fabric... Though, again, the cut of these is done well, and is the saving grace against the fabric choice. On the topic of cut, if we're being the fashion police, the hem is maybe a little high in this age of more leg coverage. I could do with another inch or two myself. All in all, these will be my shorts for big days for the forseeable future. And I'd buy them again, even knowing what I know about the fabric. The pad and general cut are that good. Change the fabric, and maybe add a couple inches to the hem, and I'd probably just buy 10 pairs and never look anywhere else for bibs again. PS: If you're taking suggestions on product development: please make a drop tail bib based on these shorts! The long distance nerds and rando kooks of the world want to keep their jerseys on for bathroom breaks. Fit/Use context: Ordered: Size Medium -40 y/o Male -5' 8", 155lbs, stocky guy build, medium aggressive bike position -19" sternum to waist, 31" waist -30" inseam, 12" crotch to top of knee, 19" thigh circumfrence at 3" above the knee -6-16 hour days, mixed with the more typical 2-4 hour outings”

“The Range Stratos Cargo bibs are now my favorite pair of Pactimo bibs ( I own several pairs). Besides the obvious fine quality, the comfort is amazing. I really enjoy having the ability to stash items in the side pockets too. These are now my my favorite and will be ordering again in the near future.”

“I'm 5' 9", 148lbs, and the medium was perfect fit for me. The bibs are just tight enough and don't move at all while riding. The strap are comfortable enough. I notice they are there but they are in no way a hinderance. I also very much appreciate the many pockets on these. I am hoping they last a long time with regular use.”
