This jacket is awesome!! I needed a jacket from your "Frigid Weather Collection" and I ordered the medium sized Vertex WX-D. I stand at 5'10" and weigh 151 lbs. I must say that the jacket wasn't as "bulky" as I expected (I thought it was flimsy and wouldn't hold the heat) also it was snug so I was concerned that layering underneath would be a problem. I really thought I was going to freeze in this since I am somewhat "thin skinned" and am always a little cold. Thankfully was I wrong! I went out road riding on a 33 degree day and a 21 degree day and I was perfectly fine. I did not need to layer up and the form fitting jacket was perfect. I am really impressed how I did not overheat or freeze in this. Truly amazing technology and I highly recommend!

My schedule is such that I have to ride in the early mornings in Colorado. In the fall / winter, this means regularly going out into the 30's (I don't ride if there's too much ice or much colder than that). I wore my medium weight base layer under this jacket, a thin neck scarf, and found it to be just the right warmth. Some low temps on the ride reached 29 and I was doing well. Never had that epic cold slow down that tends to happen. As usual with Pactimo, fits great, lots of pockets, and great construction.

This jacket is for cool or chilly weather, but not for cold weather (unless you have many layers underneath, which is always recommended). The construction is excellent, as expected from Pactimo. My problem with the jacket is it has no front pockets (at the waist). The front zippers you see are vents. This is the industry standard now, to have no front pockets, and it's a poor one. Maybe if you are a rider for the Tour you don't need front pockets -- I don't know -- but who wants to reach into a back pocket, on your back, to get...anything? Plus who doesn't run to the store (put keys in front pockets, etc) after a ride, or put hands in the pockets while standing around? Maybe for this jacket you aren't supposed to stand around. If you think no front pockets is an aerodynamic design, then why the vent slits? For me this is a case of overthinking. Front pockets -- some simple things cannot be improved upon.

I LOVE this jacket!!! I first purchased this is bright blue and loved it so much, I got a second in orange, which is my favorite color. This was the first product I bought with Pactimo and boy was I impressed. Like other reviews have said, it's hard to believe how warm this jacket keeps you for how light the material is, but it's true! I used to get so sweaty on my daily commute to work when I'd layer up for the cold and then be sweating on the hills, but now I've gone out with just at Tshirt underneath in low 40 degree weather (sometimes 30s) and be completely comfortable riding. I do agree, that I wish the zipper vents were a little longer, but I do still find that they provide adequate ventilation compared to not having them. I also wish the front zipper was more easily maneuverable with one hand, but I often find it hard to zip/unzip while riding. Otherwise, the colors are super flattering, the material is the perfect amount of stretch and sturdiness and I've been wearing these jackets daily since I got them. They also hold up very well in the rain, haven't ridden longer than a half hour in the rain while wearing, but in that time, I have felt very well protected! Would highly recommend this jacket, I wouldn't pay full price for it, but I got both on sale, so keep an eye out!!

This jacket kept me warm on a colder, windy ride. This will now be my go to jacket for rides under 40 degrees F. I'm 5'6, 155 pounds.

Sorry Pactimo. I know this is the third request to review your jacket. I haven't had much chance to get out for a ride til yesterday. My ride started in the low 40's. I'd hope to get out earlier to really test it but life gets in the way. I had my Pactimo thermoregulator base layer with an additional layer and thermal tights. I was suprisingly comfortable. I tend to get a bit cold but even in when it's a bit warmer. I was very comfortable even on downhill runs and thru shadier parts of my ride where it was quite a bit cooler. As the day warmed into the mid 50's it did start to get a bit toasty but I have no complaints. 5'9", 145lbs, medium.
