“I was impressed with how warm this jacket really is--the insulation is quite impressive for how insubstantial it looks and feels. The only ride it's been on so far is a 40ºF ride with some light drizzle and a short shower. Had a Pactimo Thermoregulator long-sleeve base layer underneath, but I needed a vest to protect my core from the cold wind. It handled the drizzle no problem, but it only lasted about 5 minutes. The equal-length shower did start to wet out the fabric, but not enough to make it cold or wet inside. Would have put my rainshell on if it continued. Overall, I'm very happy with this jacket as it will hit that sweet spot for those cold, but mostly dry rides when those (rarely) happen here in the Pac NW.”
