“These shorts are the go-to for anyone I know who likes to ride bikes. They love them. So I had to get a pair. I will say they are extremely comfortable, breathable, flattering - all the things. However I wore them during a race - and I could've sworn I wasn't wearing any passing at all. My butt was in so much pain an hour in. To be fair, it was early season and there was a lot of seat time - but I thought these were supposed to last 12+ hours and they hardly lasted one. Again though - most everyone I know loves them but they just did not work for me.”

“I wasn't sure I was going to be able to leave a positive review of these new shorts at first. But yesterday, in the middle of a 100 mile ride, I saw the request for reviews and as I rode the rest of the ride I liked them better and better. They are just different than the half-dozen pairs of Ascent shorts and two pairs of Summit Strike bibs I've owned. The pad is as comfortable as always, but thicker and larger. It has a good feel on the saddle but is more noticeable off. The fabric is very soft and not very compressive and there are no leg bands so they have a few wrinkles in my normal size of small but are nice feeling. I like the basic black look without a big logo for a ride like yesterday when I stopped for an appointment. My only reason for not giving five stars is that the legs ride up when used over leg warmers but that's one reason I became more pleased with them as the ride went on, as I removed the warmers and then didn't have that issue.”

“I am 5'7" and weigh from 145-150 depending on the day, small waist, curvy on the bottom. I had ordered up based on a friend's suggestion-this was a mistake. I exchanged the L for a M and the fit is perfect. (Side note, the staff at Pactimo were amazing with the exchange, very helpful with sizing, type of short to buy etc). ”

“I was on tour suffering from saddle sores & needed a pair of good shorts quick. These shorts are great & I made it across the second half of the US with very little pain. (It was tricky to get the caught up to me while on the road. I paid for two day shipping & that failed. Five days later & sending someone to the post office twice. I got them. Frustrating)”
