So far so good. I like the fit, pockets and wind resistance. Arizona Jan-March can be unpredictable weather. I sized up to M based on reviews. I usually wear a small but wanted to be able to fit it over my base layers comfortably. I'm 5'6" 127lbs and it fits well as a medium. Great purchase.

I am a big fan of the previous version of the Vertex WX-D jacket - but this year's model has an improved cut for curvier humans. The Polar Alpha insulation looks funny but is very cozy and kept me warm when the high of the day was less than 40* F. The core vents are perfectly placed and easy to open and close while riding. I sized up to have room for thicker baselayers as I expand my low-temp riding capacity. I found myself wishing it had zippered handwarmer pockets but maybe that's me.

Although I haven't had a chance yet to wear this riding, I have worn it a couple of time xc skiing and have been very impressed by the warmth/weight ratio. In addition, its wind stopping ability is impressive also. I am 6' and weigh 165 pounds with very long arms and the Womens XL fit perfectly (better than the Mens Large which was a bit baggy around the body). So glad to have bought this and see many years ahead for this for a variety of sports!

I love my older vertex jackets! The new version is just as great for other reasons. First it fits a bit closer and the length is good (just slightly longer). the fabric is a bit thinner but has stretch and is still wind resistant.. To make it equally as warm there is a bit of lightweight insulation…feels cozy…but the best upgrade are the zippers! Unlike the original which sometimes take 2 hands..these slide easily. The side ones have the fabric tabs to make it super easy to pull up and down while riding! Now they just need to make a few more colors (id like one in orange please!) this jacket fits true to size (I’m 5’3” about 115 and wear a small with plenty of room for multiple layers)

This is exactly the type of jacket I was looking for during the winter months of fat biking in Wisconsin. It kept me toasty without overheating and is not bulky at all. I would definitely recommend this jacket for cold weather riding. I sized up to L from M as I do for all Pactimo jerseys and jackets.
