“Nice quality from pactimo as usual. Was looking to replace an old, thin skullcap with a warmer better fitting one. I do have a smaller head but this cap fit fine. What I was disappointed with is that it let enough cold air in around my ears to be annoying and cold. I believe I will have to wear a headband under the skullcap to keep ears warm which is more than I want to wear on my head.”

“Other caps I have tried are too loose and my ears get cold. Finally there is solution. It's wind proof yet still breathable on the top. Fits in my pocket easily so I always have it.”

“The good: This has just the right coverage, well down the forehead and fully over the ears. It does a good job of blocking airflow and keeping my head warm. The not-so-good: it’s a little tight for my 23 1/2 inch head (hat size 7 1/2). I could imagine it being uncomfortably tight for anyone with a bigger head. Two overlapping sizes would have been better than just one-fits-all. Also, it’s loud, especially at speed. It’s not that it’s blocking other sounds, rather it’s generating a lot of wind noise of its own. Above about 15 mph it strongly interferes with conversation or hearing overtaking cars. It’s much louder than any other full-coverage headwear I’ve used in the past. I checked “recommend”, but really wanted “recommend with caveats”.”
