“I was pleasantly surprised with these leg warmers. I have a pair of the Alpine RT thermal ones and wanted the rain protection of the Storm. The Storm are actually less restrictive and more comfortable eventhough they seem a tad warmer. Both pairs only have seams on the sides of the legs which is they way they should be and the grips work well.”

“I'm 5'10", 180 lbs with thin legs and got the medium. The warmers fit perfectly and I found the grip at the top is tight enough to keep the warmers in place, but not so tight as to be uncomfortable. I also like that the warmers come with a zipper. If you haven't worn leg warmers before, the zipper makes it much easier to put the warmers on and take them off. Also, if your warmers don't come with zippers, you have to be careful that you don't rip their smaller-diameter bottoms when you are pulling them over your cleats.”

“I didn't really think these would be anything more than the usual mid-weight leg warmers. I was wrong. For the substantial thermal effect I was pleasantly surprised to find that these are better than several previous brands I've used. They even do a decent job of knocking down the winds in temps down toward the mid-upper 30's F. (Could be a little longer in length though. I popped a seam while trying to hoist them up. Would have been 5 stars if not for that.)”

“A couple of other brands of leg warmers I have will not stay up around the thigh, the number one deal killer in leg warmers. Sliding down during use makes them worthless. These have been working well. I'm 5'10" @165 lbs, I've been called chicken legs more than once. The medium might be shorter than I prefer as I stretch them up to the butt cheek, under the shorts. The fit is snug. I plan to get some more for alternating while washing.”
